No, you insane morons, low mileage doesn’t make your car worth the same as a 2010 Panamera.

$20,000 on a good day.

Still CP. $15,000.

Still CP. Free.

I’m sure they’re expecting to be talked down in price.
Unfortunately, a starting figure like that is going to turn away half of the interested buyers...

Fuck, just PAY ME to take it off your hands.

About double what that mileage should get. Even 30% more than a super low mileage practically new one would get.
Wait. I think I know what happened here; a salesman wanted it, but the dealer has a ‘customers get first crack at it’ policy. So the salesman just set the price so high no one would touch it. Yeah, thats whats going on.

$10k. Looks nice though

Yeah, like why not...

I’d say more like 17 on a very good day.

Does that sort of thing happen?

$25k is expecting to be talked down, 40k is insanity.

It better me made out of Carrara Marble

True, they may become super collectible some day. But today isn’t that day.
The GNX, Impala SS from the 90’s and the Marauder are all future classics in my book. The prices are rising, but you can’t just start asking $40,000 for a Marauder when you can buy a Police Interceptor with the same mileage for $9,000+/-

So it’s 12 years old, has the same suspension as Julius Caesar’s chariot, and the guy wants 40 grand? Nope. CP. Maybe a serious fanboy pays ... 10 for it? And that’s a stretch.
![]() 10/11/2015 at 15:33 |

Or 10 grand any day.

No way , that's enough cabbage to keeping my car in the road for at least a week .

I dunno man. Tavarish recently wrote an article on why you should overpay for a car. Maybe we should defer to him.. ;)

I can’t say that for certain, but the dealer is going to want to move inventory and make room for next week’s haul from the used auto auction. It’s not in their best interest to try and sell something for double market value, and they would know what the market value of this thing is. They sell cars for a living after all.
It’s reasonable to assume the price is untouchably high because someone there doesn’t want anyone buying it. Why keep people from buying it? So that you can buy it yourself.

It would be worth $40k if it were something one off from the factory like a 5 speed turbocharged prototype.

Uh, Edmunds.com says that car is worth less than $5k dealer retail.
This is eight ball, not crack pipe.
![]() 10/11/2015 at 22:39 |

It was worked on by Dennis Reinhart. This car is worthless.
![]() 10/11/2015 at 23:21 |

Not even if it was practically brand new ridiculously low miles...
![]() 10/12/2015 at 12:04 |

That better come with $36k worth of Coke in the trunk.

Even a 2010 Panamera isn’t worth a 2010 Panamera.
